Cold Steel SRK Compact
The SRK Compact is a versatile knife designed for survival and rescue missions.
Cold Steel SRK ( Survival Rescue Knife ) was designed specifically with survival and use in rescue operations in mind. It is very popular in the ranks of the armed forces and among the elements of the rescue corps.
The SRK is standard equipment of the US Navy.
COLD STEEL has been manufactured by SRK for many years and the knife has been tested in the most demanding environments in operations around the world.
The blade of the knife is made of Japanese high-carbon steel SK-5 , which is traditionally used for the production of a wide range of hand tools, including chisels and wood saws, drills, etc.
The steel shows high toughness, holds the edge very well and has great scratch resistance.
The blade is further treated with Black Tuff-Ex ™ anti-corrosion coating, a Teflon-like material.
The perfectly shaped handle of the knife made of Kraton material (Long Kray-Ex ™) offers a non-slip surface.
It fits perfectly in the hand and enables very delicate work with the knife in wet and muddy environments.
